This is Kilo Nova, a CG character used to test the technology that was developed. What you’re seeing is a novel method for creating a dataset solely designed for machine learning. Kilo was used as a data source for all three actors below.

This is a snippet of Kilo Nova’s dataset. This patended technique has been specifically designed to allow for machine-learning animation of the data.

Mimic not only allows for generative aliens based on Kilo, but it also allows for control of the amount of how much each actor’s “DNA” is represented, in order to capture their individuality, resulting in a new race of aliens all based on a single asset.
